Wait, do they have any sprites for character portraits or is it all 3D? I couldn't tell from that one courtroom lounge picture, at first glance I thought yellow-jacket lady was flat 2D, but looking again it seems I was wrong.

I am...kinda worried about this but everything I've heard suggests that AAI2 was like 10X better than the first so I'm gonna at least try to be optimistic about this game.

Honestly, it looks better than I expected when I heard it had 3d graphics.
same here, actually. i don't totally hate those screenshots in the magazine photos. i'd imagine it all looks better in person, though, just like any other screenshots of 3DS top-screen stuff.

Complaining about games you've never played is, in fact, a requirement to be an internet cool guy. Thankfully I met my quota with NSMB2 alone so I get to like stuff for a while.
More cases that go against real life courtroom rules :3
The AA court system operates more closely like the Japanese court system, lol. last i knew they didn't use juries, though i do think i read something a couple years ago about a 'lay judge' system bringing in average citizens to help with handing down verdicts somehow.

I've heard some downtalking of Investigations on this thread, and I want to ask why?
I haven't played the other games in the series, so I can't compare it to them, but even so, I thought it was a delightful experience from beginning to end.

Wasn't Investigations just pretty much fanservice cameo-land for all the PW lovers? It's interesting that someone who has never played the series proper can enjoy it

It's really more about the quality of the other games. I don't think anyone really hates the game on its own, but it is not on the same level. At all.
Those are some nice screenshots. At first I thought those 3D models weren't that good, but after a second glance I have to say they look really well made.
But what about Phoenix's partner? Any ideas?
