So this confirms that the last main game was just a gigantic plot for Phoenix Wright to steal his game series back from Apollo. Or people got butthurt because Apollo Justice had new characters.

Was Appollo Justice any good? I played the demo and got bored of it, but that may have just been because it was a lousy demo (unlike the Ghost Trick demo. Now that was a demo).

It's pretty much the first 3 games with new gimmicks here and there(one major brand new, the rest largely stuff from the last case in the first game) but the case quality is most consistent from beginning to end (even the first case is surprisingly good) and the main characters are often not as compelling. Also since it isn't just an update from a GBA version, the music is PHENOMENAL. If it wasn't for a weak ending it would have been right up there with the 3rd game as my favorite.

@Mickeymac: Apollo Justice was incredible, I thought. It kinda waffled with the first case, but the second two were great, and the last was mindblowing. Definitely pick it up if you can and try to ignore how bad the first case is, lol :3

I really remember liking that first case. But admittedly that's largely because I was surprised at how not a completely easy tutorial it was.

Finally, some actual news on this one. The wait for 5 is killing me.

Well, I never really liked AJ in the first place. The characters from PW all had a good backstory and all, where I though some of the characters in AJ were quite boring. However, dat music, simple brilliant.

The thing is, what kind of plot twist did Capcom come up this time? SPOILERS Phoenix lost his attorney badge in AJ for good, didn't he? So what would happen then? Or is this some sort of 'prequel?' Not very likely either. Meh, we'll see it when the game hits the shelves. SPOILERS END

I can't wait for this one to come out. I still need to find the second through fourth on DS but I just might break down and buy it on Wiiware. For some reason though I like having the PW series on a handheld more.

I really enjoyed the Miles Edgeworth one (the only one I've played), so I'll keep my eye on this

dude, the first 3 games are on Wiiware right now, get them. You won't regret it.

Honestly, it looks better than I expected when I heard it had 3d graphics.

Wait, do they have any sprites for character portraits or is it all 3D? I couldn't tell from that one courtroom lounge picture, at first glance I thought yellow-jacket lady was flat 2D, but looking again it seems I was wrong. I really liked the cool sprites

On a non-complaining note, it uh, looks cool so far! I guess.
