Topic: People: 3DS Purple Petition Page :)

Purple is my favourite colour, but I have to think back to the Gamecube. They launched it in purple, and a lot of people gave it the 2 fingers. I don't think they are ready to launch a new console in a "flamboyant" colour just yet. Maybe sometime in its life-cycle, but not a "Launch" colour.

Uh, I posted something in another topic with source about an interview with Iwata and he said that red/black, grey/black & blue/black are the lauchcolors and the purple and orange 3DS systems they showed at E3 aren't launch colors. So yea the system look can still change but the colors won't.

Ooh and I want the purple too btw, but I want to get the 3DS on launch day... so if it ever comes out I won´t wait for it

Sweet guys, thanks for all the responses, we are up to 35 people so far. It's not alot but its a good start Hopefully we can spread it around more and get it some more signatures/likes. Who knows, maybe we will make a difference.

Has there ever been an online gaming petition that worked? ...has there ever been a Nintendo release with more than 3 colors at launch? They'll probably release it later in the 3DS lifecycle or in another territory right before they reveal the 3DS lite if it proves to be successful at next year's E3.

Yea true but I dont see the harm in trying, I mean if people never did anything based on things that happened in the past, then we wouldnt be typing right now. With that being said its all in good fun.

I don't think it'll make a bit of difference, but it's fun joining the league of other DS nutters

GBC released in something like 5 colours, but then they never did that again. I wonder if there was problems in people not being able to find the specific colour they wanted and avoiding purchasing systems because of it. I know I had to hunt around to get the colour I wanted.

Yeah, I saw N+'s pictures from E3, I saw purple and orange in the display cases.........XD, I was like: "Is that purple?...That better be one of the released colour".

I'm surprised to see this many people campaigning for purple. That being said, I would take that color too; It would also remind people of the gamecube considering it's the only other console to be mostly purple.

I only want this color purple

Either red, green or black for me. All other consoles in my life have been black (the style of moi) but since the other colours are also mixed with black, I don't mind any of those three. Purple... sorry, but no chance for me.
