I looked up methods for telling if a DS game is real. Here's my synopsis. The back of it looks good outside of the fact that it's really blurry for a lot the numbers so you can only see a blur, which is a bit suspicious. It has the right colors for the connectors, and the numbers and letters look good. The front however, doesn't look good. I looked at guide that mentions the front picture, and showed comparisions to reals and fakes, and the slants make it look like a fake.

Thanks for your help! - I think I will pass on this one (even though I would really like to have that game).

Could it be that frequent use of a ds card can wash out those numbers?

In the first link, the only thing is that I have seen real DS and 3DS games wrapped in that "fake" way. Most likely they are fake, especially if it is a Nintendo made game, but some of those smaller 3rd party companies do that to save money.

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

Agreed, I ordered myself the whole ace attorney series for the ds... US version... it came without that Y-fold shrinkwrapping... everything else seemed neat and clean. And all games work on my 2ds ... although I have seen a video on youtube where someone shows a supposed princess peach fake to be working on his 3ds. However, when he put the game into sleep mode it didnt stop

I'd be skeptical. As people have said, real Nintendo games have the sticker on the game card applied perfectly straight, like it was done with machinery in a company run factory. The one you have there has the sticker at an angle, which seems like something that would happen if someone tried to paste the sticker by hand.

Of course, if it works... I wouldn't worry too much about it.

That is, if it keeps working. And if saving your game works... it usually doesn't do this reliably on fakes. And if the game is actually complete... pirates are notorious for using incomplete data. No, i'd stay well clear of this "special offer"
