i was talking about gameplay, story would still be similar. when you think about it many elements could still fit, have you seen "preist"? because you would be able to better understand me if you did

i still want to see a modern day zelda, obviously things would need to be changed though. i can see the world similar to what it is like in the movie "Priest" where (spoiler ahead) The church has secluded society into small cities and the places are complete hell holes. link could get a gun (just a thought) and still have his sword. Ganon or another evil being could control the cities, and link has to save them. then there are smaller towns in the outskirts free from ganon's power. i would think it'd be interesting. give it a darker palette in the cities and a brighter one outside.

If it's a 2D Zelda, I want them to make it traditional, because while I liked Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks, we haven't gotten a new 2D Zelda since the Minish Cap. Of course, as the article I posted above pointed out, it's not a sequel to the DS games.
