Topic: Opinon of 3ds browser.

I find the browser to be decent personally.What are you're opinons of it and have you found anything that you were suprised it could do?

im suprised how quick it is. And im very happy with it

I just wish we had youtube nintendo probrably will give us an update to the browser.

Considering I'm using it to post this right now, it's awesome!

Youtube is Flash and HTML5, both of which aren't supported because both of which just need more power then what the 3DS has.

A Youtube App is possible, but giving the browser native flash or HTML5 support is probably out of the question.

Yeah it actually works pretty well. Not good for watching videos, obviously, but other than that it's a perfectly functional little browser.

I like the browser. Its simple, smooth, and effective. The lack of flash is however a disappointment. I'm confident we'll see a Youtube app hit the 3DS eventually. The fact that Youtube recently started supporting stereoscopic 3D is just too coincidental!

Its a very nice browser to me. Very quick and speedy. And one of the most important things I'm glad about is that it doesn't give you errors every time you search something.{DSi Browser}

Unable to comment on the improvement of the DSi browser, but I find this awful. Much prefer good ol' firefox.

It is clean and fast. I do miss a couple of Opera features (Opera is a much better company, not sure why they switched...) like the single-column display mode and the zoomed screen, but the extra power of the 3DS has clearly made the difference in speed and its ability to handle pages full of images.

Lovin' it. But as Wariwoods pointed out- it's lacking those sweet features Opera DSi had. I used column view 100% of the time, actually.

It's easy to use, quick at loading web pages and works really well, a much, much better improvement over the DSi Browser. Shame there is no single-column view, but either way its still rather nice.

Ability to upload images to facebook is pretty awesome too, best handheld browser I've ever used!

EDIT: And if you're wondering, yes I'm posting this with the 3DS Browser.

EDIT 2: Also, words and letters look very clear and easy to read and when you zoom in it doesn't look blurred which I found the DSi Browser had problems with.

A lot better than the DSi thats for sure. And on top of that my parents don't have any parental controls on it.

I probably won't use it except for browsing 3D photos, but it does seem better than the DSi one (and the extra screen resolution makes it a little less ridiculous to browse with).

when you roamed on the iphone browser, it just cant compare.
where's youtube. dont tell me the 3ds cant handle it in terms of power compared to an iphone. this is...stupid.
it can run street fighter 4at 60fps, but cant handle... youtube ?
my pc can handle youtube and its 11 years old !

what the hell is wrong with nintendo to keep on pulling new consoles with underpower hardware. just like they did with the Wii while microshiotte et sony had powerhouses next to it.

anyway, if netflix can make videos to happen on the 3ds, i dont see why it couldt handle a youtube app or something.

Well, you really ought to know that nintendo isn't one for power, they're for innovation (which I like).
The Wii proved that you don't need a 7 core CPU and insane graphical power to make a good console. You need originality, in which sony and MS (especially Sony) have about 1% the originality of nintendo.
Also, who said it couldn't handle youtube? The fact that the browser doesn't support flash doesn't mean that 3DS can't handle youtube, it just means nintendo decided that accessing youtube by using a browser with flash wasn't the best method. Many (in fact, almost all) portable systems like iphones, smart phones, and tablets, don't have flash support with their browsers. I'm sure that a youtube app will be available eventually.
And if you're going to say, "well they don't have a youtube app yet", I got four words for you: Patience is a virtue.
Always remember that.

I preferred the DSi browser. Column view, pictures off, it was quite zippy. The 3DS browser... isn't. Not slow, but not fast, either. Much like 3DS sound, the DSi had the better, less advanced version, in my opinion.
