Topic: 3DS Ocarina of Time Remake!

Yes, I've thought about that to. The only three games that have been continually shown and re-shown by Nintendo that I know for a definite fact that I'm going to buy are Animal Crossing 3DS, Paper Mario 3DS and last but certainly not lest;Kid Icarus: Uprising.

But seeing as I'm such a Zelda fan it is most certain that I'll buy Ocarina of Time 3DS sooner rather than later.

I'm sure there are things they could do to improve Ocarina of time. I can't think of anythat don't involve changing the game entirely, but I'm sure there'e something.

I might be in the minority here but... OoT isn`t as great as everyone says it is. I mean theres nothing really epic about it and to be honest I can name atleast games that are better than it. (Just thought I`d throw my 2 cents in there.)

Don't remember if I said it or not here before...think I was blabbering on about Yoshi's Island...checks Yup, lol. Well, anyways yeah...gonna pass on this one...already have it on the VC. Unless they add some major features and content I'm not gonna bother...(unless Paper Mario isn't a launch title, lol)

I feel like oot is over rated. The story is just plain and somewhat stupid. Also Oot's only special feature was the ocarina. I think Tp is under rated, the game and story was unique and fun. The reason I think that it is so under rated is that people can't open up to change, instead rely on their past.
EDIT: Seriously how many ports does this need, why not do a remake of OOS and OOA.

I agree, yet disagree. I felt Ocarina of Time was excellent considering the limits of the technology that it had to work with and how well it excecuted its mechanics despite few precedents. Sure, it's been outclassed by now and I wouldn't call it the best game ever, but outside of that, calling it anything but great seems a bit silly to me. OoT was as "Epic" as it got on the N64, at least IMO, and it's still a very well-made game. I dunno about you, but That's what I call a great game.

I was hoping for a Wind Waker remake...one Zelda game that actually deserves one.

But what could they do to improve it? As good as it is, a great game but portable isn't gonna hook enough people to get it without some other incentive, especially for those who already own Windwaker.

Well, wasn't there supposed to be an extra dungeon? (instead of just getting the last orb from Jabun)...That's one big change.

Indeed that would. If they included that, and took out the stealth section at the beginning, I'd get it.

I loved that part though.

I sold the game because of that part, and to this day it still annoys the hell outta me. An option to skip it would be nice, at least.

If windwaker gets remade and they haven't removed the completely god awful sailing which easily makes it the worst 3d console zelda game to date, lol@people buying it

Speak for yourself, I enjoyed the sailing. What can be improved on is to be able to change wind direction without stopping to.

Yeah, the sailing was fun for me too, the only real issue I had with the game is towards the end where have to go hunt down those gold things, lol. (yes I know its Triforce pieces...>_>)
