will it happen nsmb2 was way to short and way too easy like on super mario 3d world it has 4 characters and it adds the baby yoshs form nsmbu and stuff form 3d land and world it has 8 main worlds and 8 special worlds and the cosmic mario levels return power ups super leaf hammer bro power up frog power up and cat mario

Iirc Nintendo said that only one NSMB game will come out on each system. Which would make sense if you look at the patterns. NSMB was on the DS NSMBW was on the Wii, NSMB2 on the 3DS and NSMBU. So if they were to do a NSMB3 it would probably be on the next Nintendo Handheld. Besides You have the coin rush DLC for NSMB2.

I do wonder if next generation for Nintendo they will continue the "New" branding. Although if only one thing changes I'd much rather the 'bah bah' see an update..as in no more lol. Love NSMBU and Luigi U, best of the series so far.

To be honest, I wouldn't be particularly surprised if we saw a New Super Mario Bros 3 or something in 2014. I mean, what other Mario games have they got for the year? Mario Golf?

And we all know how much Nintendo likes to rely on Mario games to sell consoles in slow times...

Still, at least the inevitable New Super Mario Bros 3 will be better than 2. Every NSMB game tends to be better (or at least more ambitious) than the last. And hey, you're right that the Hammer Suit is likely the next big item to make a return.

They've said that they'll only do one per console cycle. I assume we'll see a NSMB3 for the next handheld and a NSMB[Insert Console Synonym Here] for the next home console.

New Super Mario Bros. 2 was pretty good length. The game took me 12 hours to beat, and I've spent over 130 hours playing it over and over again

As for NSMB3, they're not going to do it, because New Super Mario Bros. is basically a title that only lures people to a console. Making another for a system that already has one is almost useless.

yah but to me the game just felt greedy no pun intended i would love to see a another new super mario bros game on 3ds so i think they sould make a new one

unless they come on with the 10ds has 10 screens lol and btw nsmb2 only took me 1 hour too beat come on nintendo you can do better then that and some many nice ppl i mean some forums ppl are rude as hell but hear they are polite and nice

If you "beat" NSMB2 in an hour my hat goes off to you. Either that or you didn't get everything. Yeah you can make it to the last world and beat Bowser but did you get the 1 million coin goal? If not than you have no reason to complain.

i beat it then go for the goal it took me about 1 day with gold rush pack

and also why is the will u 350 i mean the wii mini is 120$ i know cuz its a big step up and the gamepad is expensive but 350 parents allways go cheep for xmas hopefully we get a black Friday sale like $200 150 discount

NSMB has really, really failed to strike a chord with me. The 3D series (which I guess is what they've become? Bloody stupid name) is brilliant though, more of that please.
