Now when they say patching is possible... does that mean they could do something such as... include new characters on Mario Kart? Is that possible?
Seeing as how Mighty Switch Force is getting new levels thanks to the update, I don't see why other games (like Mario Kart) couldn't add characters (probably not anymore demanding than levels). Of course being able to do it, and actually doing it are completely different things. In regards to the MSF update, there are a few other eShop games I'd like updated. It would be great to see some new Player Levels in VVVVVV, and a new area for Sakura Samurai
Retail =/= digital. VVVVVV had an update, remember? And that was before this firmware update. But yes, I would love to have more player levels for VVVVVV. However, if I wanted new DLC in a retail game right now, I would kill for a racing mode for Kid Icarus: Uprising with the Exo Tank.
Metroid, Xenoblade, EarthBound shill
I run a YouTube/Twitch channel for fun. Check me out if you want to!
Please let me know before you send me a FC request, thanks.
new power ups and levels for 3D land would be great, as well as new tracks, character and (maybe) items (fake ? block, special items like in DD) in MK7... and the free race mode added to single player, like in MKDS.
Revenge is better with chili sauce... everything is better with chili sauce.

Downloadable games could already get patches and updates and AFAIK that's been happening since launch. There was a Pushmo update that fixed some bugs or something and then there are the NES VC updates and so on. This update only applies to retail games.
Cool, but that doesn't change my opinion.
and I agree that multiplayer VC games should have multiplayer added but that doesn't change the fact that they could have done it before this update

"Don't stir the pot" is a nice way of saying "they're too dumb to reason with"
Super Street Fighter IV: Add everything new from Arcade Edition, fix the stages(seriously the 2D people look so out of place they might as well not be there).
Sonic Generations: New stages and the ability to play the songs you've unlocked on any stage.
Shinobi: More costumes.
Samurai Warriors Chronicles: Just give me more money so that i don't have to grind to upgrade weapons

Sonic Generations: New stages and the ability to play the songs you've unlocked on any stage. Also expand the online functionality to more things like voice chat and such.
Shinobi: More costumes. And more levels.

Also, how about Pilotwings Resort? I want more missions and maybe a new island as well. Also, free flying should REALLY be free flying, so I can just fly everywhere without having a time limit.
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars could use more Skirmish Missions. Local multiplayer should be improved, and online multiplayer should be made as well.
I would love some new arenas and constumes for Dead or Alive: Dimensions (and previous SpotPass costumes to be available to those who didn't get the game until later).
I'm a sucker for nostalgia, so some more retro courses for MK7 would be great.
I don't know if it would be possible, but how about online dogfights for Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy?
Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)
I hope to see packs like on the other systems. For example a Mario Kart $2-$5 pack that includes a character, and a new Grand Prix with new courses, maybe a battle course too. Ex: MK64 Pack featuring Magikoopa as a playable character with the N64 cup that contains Royal Raceway, Wario Stadium, Yoshi Raceway, and Rainbow Road. Also Double Deck. ...Or maybe a Kid Icarus pack that comes with a special version of chapter 8 where you play as Samus, use the gunship for air battle, fight Ridley instead of the Galactic Kraken, and thus unlock the Samus Arm as an available weapon. I also second the Sonic Generations song customization.
"Good. Everyone's together. Pyrrhon loves a party." "...It's funny because marriage is terrible!" If you know the origin of both of those quotes, then you're awesome! Songs are like hugs that mouths give to ears. Dreams are easy to achieve if hope is all...

The problem with this is that two or three of the games you mentioned don't support add-on content. :/
