Topic: No plans for a 3DS lite

I'd like to see a better battery released and one the user can change, but knowing Nintendo, that's not likely.

it'll probably take them a few years to develop that technology anyway. :3

it's already been said but they claim they applied everything they learned from the DS lite about leaving no empty space to the 3DS already, so there's no practical way to make it smaller (nor is it really in need of it in the first place) and from what they say it sounds like there's no way to improve battery life with the current tech. much more power efficient backlights would probably be the only way and i don't think that's up to nintendo since they probably source that stuff from somewhere else. it's obvious that they're going to release another version sometime but there's no clear room for improvement compared to the DS, so who knows what it'll be.
