But I still want free themes though. I mean for some pictures stuck for display isn't really all that costly. I bet that its so easy to do that with MS paint.
Nintendo DID give free themes. If I remember correctly, they sent that black cat theme on Halloween to all Club Nintendo members.
That was for Europe and not everyone got the theme.
I hope that someone can make custom themes a thing, like just download a file from a site and just put it on your SD card.
! you evil pirate !!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH DIE DIE DIE !!!

as long as people are so stupid to pay up to 2€/$ for a freaking theme they will see for 5 seconds everytime they start up their 3DS, nintendo will keep selling these things and make a poopoodoodoocacapoopledoople of money for almost no effort at all.

Butt I am undead!...but there is nothing wrong with free themes, what if I want a zombie theme and Nintendo don't release one while some site has it? well I would take it! just because you are not brave enough to look at the insides of your SD don't mean I'm not, also there is a site for free themes for the PS3, many people download one of the thousands of themes that Sony probably don't care about, it's like changing your desktop background picture.
Yep, we need custom themes/background (possibly music as well), and to put more salt in the wound we need a pictochat 3D or something like that and more virtual console...that's my wish list for now...unless they want the homebrew crowd to do the job for them...

I think the Shovel Knight one was free with the game. Couldn't figure out where to download it from though so I didn't bother.
As if I'm going to pay £2 for something that's functionally meaningless. I know people who love their aestheticism would disagree, but I just can't be doing with it.
