and so far i agree, nintendo is giving us a lot of stuff with time. you cant un a business if youre giving your work for free hahahaha

Nintendo doesn't owe you, or anyone else, a thing. You buy a product, you got the product. Nowhere in that sale was a contract to supply you with additional games.

Very true.

2nd what would you have said if they didnt give you a $150 value on an $80 price drop????

Well sure, it'd be slightly annoying that the price dropped by so much so soon... But I bought my 3DS at launch because I thought it was worth the purchase, at that price.
Just because the price decreased since doesn't mean they owe me anything... I agreed to pay $350 (AUD) for it. They didn't have to do anything, but they've decided to give me free games for my loyalty, which is a very nice thing of them to do.

i found that price drop frustrating. almost like crookery. i almost lost faith in nintendo. the ambassador saved this.
when i paid 250, i knew i was paying too much for this machine, but I risked because i had money and i needed something handheld to play when i travel to work. But i love nintendo, and i knew i was getting quality titles in a future.
A price drop so fast after a launch, it smells like it was planned. I feel like a guinea pig more than an ambassador. guinea pig to try a market price.

still, i love that 3DS. i use it every freaking day. every.
But ive been able to, thanks to a huge DS library. its like buying that next gen console, but playing the old gen games for months. what the hell. this is 250$ price worth? Every console i bought, and i got many, i didnt have to rely on oldware.
the 3ds should have launch with this price tag, or even 185$ (north america) would have been okay. 250. not.
and please dont say the 3ds had lots of titles to play. They had eshop titles packed in a box for 40$ dollars. They might not be as bad as they were reviewed, but they surely not worth their load of pennies.

It's been confirmed that this isn't true.

Your free demo of Super Mario 3D Land will be arriving this Fall via Spotpass or manually through Nintendo eShop. Thank You.

I believe this, but could I get a source so I can see the 3D Mario Land demo confirmation? Thank you.

A thousand apologies, but there is no source other than the E3 2011 conference where it's confirmed that demos will be arriving this fall- of downloadable games and retail games. Also, if you check through your Nintendo 3DS system settings, you should see "Allow automatic downloads software while in sleep mode- such as free titles and demos".

That's why this article doesn't make sense. And the user agreement pretty much allows and tells you that third parties could and may distribute content to you without your permission (through Spotpass, of course). Of course, it's just a user agreement and can be taken either way. But I don't think the person who wrote this article has much credibility (just as I, I suppose).

Oh, and that comment wasn't to be taken too serious.

Thank You.

Oh Nintendo totally owes us with free games. After all, fans feel like Nintendo is obliged to cater to their every whims and when Nintendo makes a decision, they must totally kiss our tail ends

After Satoru Iwata have used and betrayed us!, It would be only right to promise us Free "Nintendo brand" Games!
Or unless you would have been happy with lwata's silly and pathetic apology.

For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday.

this is just a rumour about one game by some company in Japan. this article is bull....Nintendo has never said that they won't give demos. Until you hear official word from Nintendo do not believe this article.

Want: Harvest Moon: One World, Story of Seasons: Pioneering Town, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury

Finished the Alola Dex.
Now playing New Horizons, Wrath of White Witch and Sword
