I'm questioning the credibility of this story as each "source" is just another website
This site has been right about a lot of things, but I am hoping that its wrong, or Nintendo will change they're minds. Just think about how the DLC will be like!
so they can offer free games, but not demos??? I find that hard to believe
Digitaloggery 3DS FC: Otaku1 WiiU: 013017970991 Nintendo of Japan niconico community is full of kawaii! Must finish my backlagg or at least get close this year W...
don't believe it either. nintendo said that they were going to offer demos at E3...i don't take anything but their official word. Which that article isn't.
Want: Harvest Moon: One World, Story of Seasons: Pioneering Town, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury
Finished the Alola Dex.
Now playing New Horizons, Wrath of White Witch and Sword
I'm not sure if I'm willing to pay for this game, but I as might as well try out the demo to see if I like it--d'oh wait. also i'm starting to become desperate for any kind of demos from nintendo since they said they'd be available this year
Nintendo already said that it will allow demos to be automatically obtained via SpotPass, so this story seems to be b-s. Maybe they are not allowed to do this YET, but it will happen in the future. The same was once told about WiiWare, and as everyone knows there were demos available for quite a few titles on the service. I wouldn't hold Mynintendonews up on that one...
i need demos of some game to buy them. thats what i do on pc before making my decisions. some games have bad reviews, but they still appeal me anyway, give me fun time. bacause i cant try the game first, i dont buy the game.
are they afraid that some games suck so much they wont sell them anymore ? or maybe thats because a lot of them just dont have enough content to make a demo out of it. its almost already a demo ! (being half serious there, im just kidding really)
As much as I hope this isn't true, there's still a possibility it is. Indeed, Nintendo has stated themselves that downloads will be offered for free, via automatic SpotPass downloads. They never stated whether these games will be 1st or 3rd party, however. We will be getting free demos, but they could just all be 1st party.
All right, so automatic 1st party demos will be coming, but what about 3rd party game demos? I feel a lot less confident buying a 3rd party game than a 1st party Nintendo game, so hopefully they'll allow 3rd party 3DS game demos to be available on the eShop, maybe in a system like Nintendo Channel's DS demo system.
I doubt this is true. There seems to be no reason why that would be the case. I'm sure Nintendo want to encourage people to buy games on their consoles and demos only help that.
Yeah after JarvanZheitk reminded me (us) that nintendo was going to send us demos, I went back and re-read the article. True, 3rd parties can't do free games on eshop, so mynintendonews must of made the accusation that you had to pay for 3rd party demos. I'm not 100% on this. Sorry for the act of panic.
