Topic: Nintendogs Question

I have a question about Nintendogs in the diary and in the Pedometer mode. You can set your Mii to whichever one you want. My Mii doesn't look exactly like the one I use. The eyebrows and mouth are turned down making her sad looking, and I can't figure out why. That's not they way it looks in the Mii Maker. Is there a reason for this, like I haven't trained my dog enough, or I haven't street passed anyone yet?
I even tried radically changing my Mii - gave her different hair and different skin colour. When I went back into the game the Mii had changed, but her expression did not. She still looks sad. Any idea why?

Maybe she hates being in the game.

But how did you see your own Mii in the game? The closest thing I see to myself is my hand when I'm petting the dog.

If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.

Look in the diary, you'll see your Mii there. This is also what is exchanged if you street pass someone. You can set the Mii, the photo and the gift you want to share when you street pass someone. I don't like my Mii looking so sad. Maybe I'm just not playing right?

@abgar ... still another 15 days wait? Gah is right!!

I just read your post a second time, Victoria, and then went to Journal and Pedometer. My Mii looks as it normally does. Maybe you don't have enough points with your dog.
You know how when you pet your dog until little flowers appear? Well, that contributes points, I guess it shows how much your dogs loves you or measures what your relationship with your dog is. My points at the moment are 405. You can check how much points your dog has by clicking the stats button next to its face, and then clicking its face on the stats screen.

If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.

@TJ - I tried checking my dogs status (I didn't know this part was there). Mine shows a little heart inside a speech bubble and then 1002 after that. Is this the part you mean?

Yeah. Your dog is apparently way happier than mine, so that can't be the problem, then. Maybe it's just your imagination?

Is there any way you can post a picture?
(you can take snapshot with your DSi, in case you can't take pictures in-3DS)

Yeah, my 3DS should be arriving soon, but my nintendogs copy will take it's sweet time.
just don't use imageshack to upload it because my school blocks that site for some reason

Here's what she looks like. See how her eyebrows droop.

My doggy seems happy, but I don't. I wonder if it's because, A. I don't have much money; B. My house is still pretty bare; or C. I've not taught my pooch many tricks?

You haven't taught it tricks? My Midnight knows quite a few of them. So we differ in that way. Try teaching it tricks to see what happens.

Does it least at know "sit"? That's a basic move you're kind of forced to teach your dog.

My dog only knows 8 tricks. I'd teach him more but I'm not always in the room alone when I play, and I feel a bit silly barking out commands while my husband is trying to read or watch telly.

My dog has a very hard time with the "right paw" command. She lost the obedience trial for me earlier. *grumble

At any rate, Victoria, I'm not sure what's going on with your Mii there. How strange.

When I close my eyes, I see pixilated blood.

Tonight I bought one of those record albums, a classical song. I enjoyed it so much that I went and bought another one which was also a really good piece of music. My Mii looks the same. You'd think blowing £70 on classical music would make me smile, but no. My Mii is just pathetic! Maybe she needs prozac. LOL
