Topic: Ever Oasis (3DS)

Can`t wait for it !!! The game will be huge !!!

I'm not so sure myself, it's a new ip and at this point I think Codename Steam was getting more hype (but I suspect Ever Oasis will do better) and even FE Echoes is trailing behind Awakening and Fates due to it the 3ds being on it's last legs.

This is Day 1 buy for me.

I love everything about this game, and yet I still have a hard time convincing myself to order and play it as I've mostly moved on to Switch despite my love for 3DS. If I was going to do such a game, this was the one. Everything about it screams Fantasy Life. Maybe we'll get a Switch port someday?

Doubt it. If they were going to release it for Switch, they would have already done so.

@TheLZdragon Someone probably once said the same thing regarding 3DS about Mario Maker and Wooly World I can dream. Ever Oasis and Persona 5 on Switch. It can still happen!

I love the art style, and I am always happy to see a 3D (platformer, RPG, etc) game on 3DS. It's a shame it's not going to sell very well because many people seem to have moved on from 3DS. I will say I am happy with the amount of new games we have gotten this year, and for once it feels like Nintendo is giving one of it's systems an appropriate sendoff. I literally can't think of any other Nintendo system that received even an OK final year.

Can't wait to play this game. Only two more weeks. This is my most anticipated game this year. Definitely love that it's different. Hope this does well so maybe we can get a sequel to this.

This new trailer looks killer . Just really confirms for me that it will be a day one purchase and play right away. So many great 3ds games I still have not played . It will be busy for years to come. Along with the Switch. This game will go to the front of the line .. has an animal crossing / Zelda hybrid vibe. Looks like it could be a huge game too. That battle segment with the scorpion looks awesome !

Anyone else tried the demo of this? Having played it, I'm still not sure about buying this game. I like the ideas behind it but the aesthetics of it just aren't for me. It really feels like it's aimed at little kids.

It's not aimed at little kids. I don't know many kids who have the patience to play any RPG. At least my kids don't.

I think the demo will make it or break it for me, but I'll also keep an eye out for reviews. It'll be some time before I'm able to touch the demo alone.

I played the demo and I thought it was great; this would be a definite buy if there weren't so many amazing games coming out this summer. -_-

I thought the demo was good enough to know what to expect from the game, might end up getting it.

I felt like the demo was too short to get anything out of it. The combat in the demo is pretty basic and it's hard to see how it could get more complex since there doesn't seem to be much in the way of skills or special attacks. I enjoyed what I played, but I feel like there's a lot missing that could have sold the game a little better.

I'm waiting on reviews before I make the purchase. The game definitely looks interesting especially with the sort of, "choose your own dungeon difficulty" they showed on the Treehouse.

I found the demo a little lacking and it didn't really show off many mechanics other than the traditional fetch quest, go out fighting, get rewarded.

Yeah, I wonder why there are still no reviews. Is this because all sites focus on Switch now, or that it is a stinker? I personally liked the demo, but I am not sure if I'll buy. It depends on how much dungeoning there's in it. The demo only offered a few very short cave's. I heard about the labyrinths, but those are randomly generated (you can make your own difficulty with different slabs though). Never a fan of that. I also want to see some reviews first.
