Nintendo needs to push for more created ways of using AR cards. Its great see kid icarus uprising using them but i would of liked a bit more then battles that already have out come. Would been cool if you could of leveled up the cards as you fight and more fighting you do more experience you get to make your cards stronger.
Dog AR game in video below would been great for nintendogs + cats and while dont have any love for vita i do love alien AR game looks amazing lol
I wish the Kid Icarus cards didn't require you to travel the US to get any.

I agree. It's a neat feature, but I don't think Nintendo is using it as much as they could be. Ever since I got my 3DS in April, I haven't even touched the AR cards, and now they're basically useless ever since I beat all the AR Games. I mean, after you play all the AR Games, they get boring quickly, and there's nothing else to use them for, (unless you have Kid Icarus: Uprising) so it's kinda like "What do I do with these now?" So it would be nice if they use the feature more often, I would like to see it put into more games.
Nintendo needs to view and collect all the "nintendo needs to" thread and needs to act on them!!!
I know they used one of our forum member's Pushmo puzzles in their Nintendo Show 3D feature on Pushmo. That's gotta be a sign that there's at least one person from Nintendo who lurks this site ...
Maybe Reggie has a hidden account on here that even the mods/admins don't even know about, lol. But yeah, still hoping to see some trading card game that will use AR for the 3DS, that would be awesome.

Keep it PG-13-ish.
People continue to overestimate what AR is actually capable of. It's an incredibly limited technology, guys. You're not going to see it get much better than what you've already got there.
I had a thread on here a while ago about AR board games. As for AR being limited, yes, the AR for the 3DS is rather gimmicky. However, AR has the potential to be much more, and is already starting to do so. The ultimate goal is for AR contact lenses.
the technology itself may be limited but it could be used to expand gameplay. In Kid Icarus for instance there could have been a real Card Battle game where you'd be able to battle your friends and gain experience points etc. Something like the Pokemon card game for adults

Augmented reality will come back in a big way in a generation or two when Nintendo finds a feasible way to majorly incorporate it into a system. Until then it will only be a curiosity.

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.

I really like that idea, what if you could scan special AR pokemon cards into the game? Like you could scan them in and you would then be able to get them in the safari zone or something. that would be sick.
