I'm trying to take apart my 3DS XL back in order to see the issue with my circle pad. Unfortunately I've tried both Phillips 00 and 000 and neither work. The screws are either stripped or too tight. I can't take it apart. Any advice?

...You might want to just, send it to Nintendo to repair it.

How much will that cost me?

I mean, it's a lot...but messing with the thing yourself may cause more issues.

I once took my 3DS (or DSi can't remember which) to Best Buy and Geek Squad was kind enough to open my stripped screws for free.

EDIT: Oh! I remember, it was the original 3DS. I wanted to take the screws off to install the Nyko battery but ended up stripping the screws, and Geek Squad helped me out and unscrewed them in like 5 seconds.

If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.
