My 3DS Xl has an issue where the circle pad carries a lot of friction and doesn't want to move freely. Is this something that can be fixed? Also do you think it would be possible to trade my 3DS XL in to Gamestop even with this issue?

It's not too bad as long as you don't apply too much pressure. Other systems however don't have the same problem.

Sure you can trade it into Gamestop, you wiill just get less money or credit then you would if it was working properly.

How much less do you think? Do they refurbish all used systems? If they do maybe they would take it regardless and fix it up, thanks for the reply by the way.

Circle Pad Pro compatible games usually have an option to recalibrate the device in the game's settings. Have you tried that?

"Gee, that's really persuasive. Do you have any actual points to make other than to essentially say 'me Tarzan, physical bad, digital good'?"

It's more of a hardware issue and I don't have the Circle Pad Pro. Thanks for the response

I'm pretty sure there is a black flat circle plastic in your circle pad that is broken. You can have the circlepad replaced either by nintendo or do it yourself, there are tutorials on YouTube.

Just trade it in and get a new XL. Gamestop/EBgames is taking 100 bucks for the XL model if you trade it in for the new XL. Better be quick, the offer expires on March 1st.
