As we all know, the Nintendo 3DS is a stellar system with a strong library of games. With Super Smash Bros. 3DS, Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, Sonic Lost World, Professor Layton Arzan Legacies, Monster Hunter 4, Mario & Luigi Dream Team, Mario Party 3DS, Yoshi's New Island, Mario Golf: World Tour, and more coming out for it, the 3DS doesn't have a bad future. But what's next? Here's what I think.
Kirby games for 3DS, a Metroid title, a Mario Hoops/Mario Sports Mix sequel, an original Star Fox title, another Mario platformer (either a remake or something new; either 2D or 3D platformer), more Pokémon titles for Gen. 6, an original Donkey Kong title, more Mario VS. DK titles, new IP, Mario Baseball 3DS, Wario-Ware 3DS, Wario Land 3DS, Super Princess Peach sequel, Custom Robo 3DS, Game & Watch Gallery 3DS, Starfy 3DS, and more from what I can predict. But I'm only predicting first-party. What do you guys think? Comment below!
Games I'm playing currently: Legend of Zelda: A Link Betweeen Worlds, Tearaway
Games I'm excited for: Super Mario 3D World, Super Smash Bros. 4, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Mario Kart 8

Judging by your list and Nintendo's habit as of the last twenty fives years, sequels. Sequels, sequels, sequels.
So goes everyone. At least Nintendo makes games that always are enjoyable. There is very little that is memorable from MS and Sony, even their critically acclaimed games leave much of a lasting impression. Played all 3 Uncharted can't remember anything about the characters or the story. Last of Us was ok as long as I just wanted a virtual experience, and Gears of War is no different than any other shooters. How dumb is Nintendo for creating amazing memorable characters that sell and add small changes to keep the games fresh without reinventing the wheel.

According to your perspective
Many of us don't share your perspective, to say the least. lol

I've gotten almost just as many memorable experiences from Sony's games, so to each his own I suppose.
To get this back on track, I'd personally like to see:
New Metroid (preferably a 2.5D perspective)
New Kirby (preferably a classic style platformer, like Return to Dreamland)
Yeah, I know that's not much, but they've already released/announced most of their series I'm interested in (Zelda has two titles, Super Mario has two titles, Paper Mario, Mario & Luigi, Fire Emblem, and Smash Bros)
Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)
I hope there's a new 3DS Kirby, a new 3DS Metroid game and at least one Wario game (Land or Ware, either is needed for the 3DS about now).
Practically speaking, I suspect we'll get a new Mario game out of the blue because Nintendo can't go a single year without a new Mario title on a system.
