Topic: Nintendo 3ds October update help?

I have a nintendo 3ds that I recently updated to the most recent update of Oct. 6. But, when I go to camera, It recognizes my sd card, but tells me I have only about 900 photos left. And when I video taped the first time after the update, I had only about 6 minutes to do it. Each time after I video tape, the time alloted gets smaller. What can I do? Before I updated, I had over 1,000 photos I could take, and video recording allowed me 10 minutes every time. Can I undo the update, or something? What is the problem?

Video recordings take up space. Upload the ones you want on your computer and delete the videos on the SD card. You ran out of space so the minutes got smaller. Also any downloads from eshop/updates will take up a little space as well.

Just might need to upgrade SD cards.

The system update requires space on your SD card, which cuts into how many photos/videos you can take....

The numbers they give you is how much you have left before your SD card is full. Obviously, the numbers tick down when you take a photo or video.

Once again, the numbers they give you is how many photos you can take before the SD card is full. The numbers go down as you take photos or videos.

My current sd card has only 4 GB. The clean one has 8. Maybe if I copy all of my data on to the new one using my computer?
