Topic: Nintendo 3Ds eshop Delayed?

I'm in central time, so will it be very late here? Not a problem if it is. I'm always up late anyway. lol.

Well, at least I can stop checking everyday for the update and it is nice to finally have a date. I guess we all should have known that it would get delayed a little. No word from Nintendo yet (and next week is the middle of the month). It should make for an even cooler E3 week for sure.

(Warning: The following is a rant. I own a 3DS and support Nintendo, but sometimes they make me angry.)

This launch sucked . Two straight months of broken promises and delay after delay. The novelty of 3D alone wasn't enough to keep me occupied for 9 some odd weeks, and all I hear about in terms of upcoming games are ports and remakes.

You're welcome, Nintendo. It was a pleasure buying your expensive brick. Zelda gets delayed and so help me I will throw it at your house.

Should give me just enough time for another StreetPass-LESS (good thing I love puppies & kitties) run through Find Mii to get the rest of the hats!

Yay, got it to work.

Now they can highlight the update at the Nintendo E3 conference. As much as the delay sucks, it's actually a smart move on their part if you think about it.

I agree. However, the console has a lot of potential. When games like Zelda, Paper Mario, and Resident Evil hit, I'm sure all will be forgiven.
This delay is something I should have anticipated. I was hoping for the end of next week. At least a fortnight late isn't too bad. It could be a lot worse.

Seems like we're going back to the old Nintendo that messed things up all the time.

oh ffs. E3 is still close enough to the 'end of May' — you want to talk 'delayed', wake me up when it gets to be October with no e-Shop in sight.

I guess. For them to release the 3DS in Spring when all the decent stuff is in the Summer annoys me, seeing as even the only saving grace was pushed back. The only upside is that I have a 3DS before they're hard to find.

Noooooooo!!!! I was really hoping for them to surprise us with early May... but now it will be early June.
Im enjoying my 3DS games at the moment but I still was looking forward to the eShop.
Only thing I have got to look forward is the three day "Seeing is Believing" Nintendo tour at the Xscape up the road from me, apparantly there will be plenty of opportunities for StreetPasses and chances to play demos of some of the other 3DS games I dont have yet.

Its gonna be delayed and put back till early June - I just know it!

I really envy you. Do you know how many street passes your going to get!!! 20 bucks says after E3, you will have every puzzle piece and have made it through Find Mii/Street Pass Quest at least 3 times

Oh ya. I wouldn't be surprised if June 6 hits and they say "Surprise! We meant June 6th 2012!"

Don't overreact guys, yeah I know that's a long time in the world of the internets but really it's not that far away. I for one am kind of glad for the delay.
1.It doesn't come out till after my exams.
2.I get some time to make some money for this and LoZ OoT by then.

This annoys me for the reason that we seem to be getting the raw deal for buying the console on launch.
-Browser/shop delayed until June
-No stellar titles until June
-Price has dropepd several places by about £40

Thanks, I'll just go back to my ubisoft ports.

And yet you still bought it at launch, knowing all these things would happen.
