So I'm guessing the circle pad add-on is made by Nintendo after all, and it is an optional accessory that will improve the controls of games that support it. $15 is a pretty reasonable price, and I hope it comes bundled with a game.
All you people who were afraid of Nintendo announcing a redesigned 3DS can stop worrying. There is no redesign, so 01net was wrong once again.
So it is compatiable with Dream Drop Distance? Guess I will be buying it then. For $15, it is reasonable. Wait, it requires one AAA battery? What the eff?
For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday. [url=http://www.backloggery.com/jumpmad]Unive...
That's hideous and I don't want any of those games. And even if I did, it's completely optional. I'll never own that thing.
Oh come on, it's not that bad... The sucky thing is that it uses 1 AAA battery. How are we to know if the battery is dying? Is there a power light on that thing?
@LordJumpMad: that's my favorite game this generation, nice quote. See avatar. I'm not complaining about games I've never played, I'm stating I'm not buying that thing, because it's optional, no game I want supports it and it's ugly.

So you don't want Resident Evil Revelations, MGS3, or Kingdom Hearts 3D?
I just visualized that thing on my 3DS, placing my right thumb in the area where the circle pad would be. It's not as bad as you people think, you just slide your thumb to the right of the buttons.
It's not only that, really. I personally find it completely unnecessary and also impractical. Huge, which defeats the purpose of a handheld, and requires a AAA battery. It's also ugly, and all those games that support it can be played without it.

Well how else would you power it? If it siphoned power from the 3DS, that would drain the battery in no time.

Every time I read one of your posts I do a real life facepalm.
It could have.. should have.. had a rechargable battery built into it.
You're missing the point. The fact that it was the best way to power it (and keep it cheap) doesn't mean it's not absurdly impractical as an accessory. I'm just not going to buy it.

Well of course. I was simply stating that any form of battery is necessary, cause if it siphoned power from the 3DS, then it would drain the system's battery very quickly.
