Most people Hate this but just remake Zelda 1 And 2 in 3D so they clear up the timeline.
What timeline? And why would they remake them? That doesn't make any sense.
1) those are the two hardest games to place in the timeline.
2) Seasons and Oracles were supposed to be a Trilogy of games about the triforce. Two of them were remakes of zelda 1 and 2 with the third being a new tales. The narrative was story focused and when put all three games together it explained alot about the universe.

Thats not what I mean. Zelda 1 and 2 are connected I guess but connecting these games isn't in my... interest? How would they play, look, sound, control, for what system etc. if they were remade? Lets take Zelda 1. The remake you want is revamped with new 3DS graphics a la Ocarina of Time 3D? Or a remake as in it being a 3D Zelda?

3D or 2.5d could work. The Gameplay would be radically different but It would be cool to see. Plus I want to learn more about the Triforce. Would make a Good Companion piece to How Skyward Sword is clearing up the timeline.

Linking won't allow you to "play seasons in ages" or the other way. It just makes the version you already completed the "prequel" of the game you're linking with. This means characters from the previous game will appear and remember you and new things will happen that wouldn't happen in a normal file.
If would be cool if nintendo would do the 3rd game for the 3DS (i think it was something about "The Seed of Courage" or something like that) and allow 1 way connectivity with the originals using the original's passwords. But that's asking a bit too much.
Ah, that makes sense then. I miread/misunderstood my guide book.
I doubt the 3rd one will even be brought back because I thought the ideas for that game was incorporated into Seasons and Ages- at least I think. Don't clearly remember why exactly it was cancelled.
It had something to with the dificulty of linking different 3 games. Each game would need at least 5 different versions of their stories and the codes would be much longer than they already are.
Though they pretty much ended up reusing most of their ideas for the game in the other two.
Twilight Princess style graphics, a mix of 3D and Top-down dungeon design, and most importantly, PH & ST gameplay methods(ie Touchscreen controls). Believe
Is it odd that I want the opposite of this?

As long as this new Zelda doesn't use touch only controls like the two DS games I'll be happy with it. Phantom hourglass and Spirit tracks were really good but god they screwed up the control method. I'm really afraid to play those on my 3DS for fear of scratching the piss outta my screen. aquiring Some of the heart pieces requires really fast tapping and sliding of the stylus. that doesn't seem like a good idea to me. Even if you're carefull you're likely to get scratches doing that.

As long as they don't have a horrible returning main dungeon, ugh. And time limits. Those things bothered me a lot more than the touch controls, which generally worked fairly well.
I'm hoping for a highly stylised Zelda. Toon graphics is fine with me, they looked pretty bad on DS (should've stuck with sprites) but they'll look good here. Sprites or an entirely new artstyle would work too, but please, no realism. Twilight Princess looks more outdated than Wind Waker, that's because realism is outdated easily.
I want a open wold and not segments that you travel to, I want full control with the cricle pad (the stylus can be used for some weapons and stuff though), more memorable characters like Linebeck, new antagonist, an instrument (maybe a violin), some interesting sidequests, new graphics style (anything but the TP look would do though).
Looking forward to: No More Heroes: Travis Strikes Again

Touch controls were fine but they wouldn't work on a large scale for a 3DS Zelda since the touchscreen isn't in 3D. I can see the touchscreen functioning as an inventory/map a la OoT3D, but movement would need to be handled with buttons and the circle pad if the game were going to be in 3D.
Because they might have been sequels storyline-wise, but the gameplay in those games were vastly different from the Wind Waker. The Wind Waker was an epic 3D adventure that used sailing to explore a gigantic world. The DS Zelda games were top down Zeldas that were touch screen only games.
I want to see a REAL sequel to the Wind Waker that advances the exploration elements that were in the original.
Huh. So Zelda II isn't a True sequel To LOZ.
Gameplay wise, no. The main reason for the ALTTP hype back then was because it was a "true" sequel to LoZ.
