What about Peach and Daisy being playable? Maybe Bowser stole ALL THE COINS and made an army of gold, and now the Mushroom Kingdom is in an economic crisis so everyone INCLUDING THE PRINCESSES has to stomp on baddies.

Then they wake up and it was all a dream, and WaveBoy is happy.

I find it really hard to get excited about another NSMB. Unlike the old 2d mario's, these all seem to blend together.

Wish they'd given more details on that Kirby compilation. I hope it has something outside of the games already available on VC.

So if it hits in August, they must surely be pretty far along in development. Why choose those 4 terrible screenshots? Show me something new and unexpected, Iwata!

Yes! This is great. Finally we'll be getting folders! My 3DS home screen looks so darn cluttered with stuff, it's gonna be really really great to get some content organization going on. Great news.

Wow, that's awesome as well. Feels like I should have followed the conference live. I hope this will turn out great. Cause right now it looks like crap to be honest and just a cheap cash in. But assuming they have the levels and level design done since it'll be released in August they might be going all in on polish until then. I hope so at least.

Cause this looks like a DS game to be honest. And I don't like that. It also looks like it won't be using the 3D, like... At all. The backgrounds look like cardboard cut-outs.. They could have at least made some real models of trees etc. that go deeper in to the screen using the 3D effect. Looks kind of lazy to be honest.

I won't make my final judgment yet though. There's still E3.

Nintendo are just pumping these games out now. The frequency of Zelda games is getting too high as well. I have no interest in this 'new' New Super Mario Bros. I'm worried Nintendo may be going the way of Disney throughout the sequel years.

I think its an eShop title. In the video I saw, there were some cute looking creatures (not Pokémon) attacking a corn monster. It looked like a (cuddly) traditional RPG. I saw the video on YouTube a while back, but I have no idea how I got there, or what it was called (everything being in Japanese).

On topic though, NSMB2 looks like it could be pretty fun, and more Kirby is always welcome.

Here's something I think is worth pointing out with this system update enabling patches: The Mario Kart 7 Wuhu online glitch's days are NUMBERED!!! The cheaters' days are numbered as well! Maybe then I'll start playing MK7 online again.

Now that has me interested... Just started playing the original B/W and I'm definitely picking up the second one as well.

So much hate for NSMB, it's depressing. Whether "new" or not, the games are still fun. Right now you guys all sound like a bunch of grumpy old people, who can't have fun with something they don't necessarily like.
