Sooo I got this game today from my retailer (I'm in France, street dates are meaningless here) and I went already halfway through World 2 (must've played an hour or so) and I totally love it !
Of course the graphical style is still a bit meh, but the courses feel more exploration-friendly, while also good for the speedrunners. Music wise, it hasn't changed a bit, so that's kinda disappointing, but overall I find it a lot of fun !

Also, the "booklet" is sadly reaaaally poor in content, being 4 pages long, and one of them is the cover !

(Do not mind the image on my screen, it's a teaser I decided to set-up for my French readers ^^)

I'm really digging it so far, I hope it lasts longer than I think it unfortunately will.

I think booklets are like, dying these days...doesn't the game have a digital booklet anyways?

I love Erica (Strike Witches), Eureka (Eureka Seven), and Tenma (School Rumble), stay away from them. xD
Update: Also love Yukari and Mizore from Rosario + Vampire.
Another Update: Also Yuuki...from School Rumble...
Yet Another Update: Also Amber and Xiao Pai from Rune Factory 4.

Yeah, sadly enough all first party 3DS games these days tend to have just a crappy little fold out and just a digital manual.
I miss the times of reading the booking on the train on my way home... but at the same time I can always just play my new game on the way home with a handheld so I guess that's not too bad. :P

Looking forward to this game, if only for the sheer madness of collecting gold, gold, and more gold. I do think nintendos lazy for recycling the music I've heard thus far. C'mon I've heard that enuff on Wii.

Then again the game itself explains everything anyway. And Mario Bros. is, erm...well....simple. xD

@Eureka Haha yeah.
Didn't stop them from including a tutorial DVD in Super Mario Galaxy 2 though.
I guess those 3D Mario games are super complicated...? :P

Anyways yeah I think they're just going fully digital or something with the manuals. xD

The fact that first-party 3DS manuals are so bad now makes me feel better about going digital with future releases. :3

That is one of the sexiest Mario box arts I have ever seen. I'm buying the physical copy just for that box alone. screw the game.

Was the tutorial voiced by Charles Martinet? That would've been epic. xD

We never got one, and I'm happy for that.

For those with the game: is it easy? I mean, NSMBW had hard parts off and on in every world. Same here? Cause I hope so.
