I'm not sure if we even have those download codes here.
I've never heard anyone say anything about them in my many hours of sitting in EB.
Never tried asking for one so can't be sure though.

Also honestly the box ain't much now, with them making them eco friendly and making the manuals smaller and smaller. It's worth it Digital just to not have to type down my Club Nintendo code.

I just bought a 32GB SD card from Amazon for 20 dollars. Loads fast and works well. The blue Sandisk one. (Someone recommended it on here and I thank him).

I think I am going to go digital for Wii U too. Never have to worry about a CD scratching ever again. Or letting someone borrow a game when I don't really want to let them borrow it (worrying they'll scratch it) but I say yes anyways.

Lol using that as a excuse to keep people from borrowing your games is cruel! Yet so true. For real, I hate lending out my games. But I still love being able to physically own my games. I have my share of digital games, but I never feel like I have full ownership of them.

I'm getting retail. I actually really love owning the box. It makes me feel that I really own the game, not just another digital download.

Wiiware/VC spoiled me, I don't like switching out the games anymore , having to take them out of the case and putting the original game back in (I had my games organized) then I would get furious when my sister played games when I left switching out the discs. I told her, I CAN LET YOU PLAY, but DON'T change discs yourself!

Her PS2 games are all scratched up.

Also just being able to buy a game on release, since I don't have a car and the stores are a town away, I always need to get a ride form someone. Wait till they go to town and ask if I can go. Or wait for shipping on Amazon. It's all just perfect for me. Though I know other people feel differently.

After my wii scare I'm going to DL any game that is available, I would like physical more if it were more like DS Cards, and everything was backwards compatible from now till the end of time, but since in 10 years we won't be able to play NSMB2 via card on our new 5DS it seems better to DL it plus the whole worrying about a stolen 3DS, all I have to do is wait till the Nov. update and no more worrying about a stolen 3DS even now if you file a report you don't have to worry, I hope there's a way to copy the games I already have to a digital form soon

That's why I sold my GC games in advance. (more value at the time). I knew later on I wasn't going to be able to play them or use the controllers (my Gamecube died before I got the Wii) and I told my games... I will see you later... in another form. I will rebuy all my games later on VC. This way at least you can play them for all future consoles. Since Nintendo said the Eshop and such would live on in your heart. Also I rather just have everything all in one console instead of have different controllers, cables and games connected.

Couldn't you just buy a Wii, and play the GC games on it?

I have a Wii, I mean later on. I'm prolly going to trade in my Wii to get a Wii U or leave the Wii at home for my sister to use.

The only problem I see with digital only is SD Card space, I don't even know if a 32GB will be enough although ATM I only have a 4GB.
