I miss the DS bosses as well. They should've done that for this one. Have some continuity that makes sense. Where's the similarities of 2. with the original DS game? Besides the world map, its more like the Wii game.

The....ummmm.....Mega Mushroom? xD

The....ummmm.....easy difficulty?

1-UPS! EVERYWHERE!

...Oh, and the fact that I pretty much speedrunned New Super Mario Bros. Wii (hardest NSMB... which isn't saying much) under 13 (10? 11? ah hell) minutes.

So pretty much, Donkey Kong Country Returns is very easy too because of all the lives then. Rayman Origins has no lives, so its pretty much the easiest game out there, huh?

Ok.

The first part was merely good fun. Donkey Kong Country Returns and Rayman Origins were some of the best games of their years, with spankin' hot difficulty and great level design.

The second part is basically my personal skill with Mario these days. (lol)

I guess the real reason is that the New Super Mario Bros. games catered to those new to games, not to those who knows how to hold down the B button to finish a 2D Mario game. Difficulty was toned down, and they basically felt like running through playgrounds as a thirteen-year old (NSMB) instead of a full-out obstacle course (Super Mario Bros., more or less).

Anyways point being, just because there's a crapload of lives, doesn't mean its gonna be hard. lol
I died countless times in Returns' Mirror Mode, as well in Origins...and a good amount in NSMBW. (not as much, but yeah, it had some hard parts)

If I recall correctly (I never touched NSMBW after I plowed through the game, so I'm not sure), the only reaaaally challenging levels that can even come close to DKCR and Origins was at World 9.

I just hope that NSMB2 has eight more worlds to go through like Super Mario 3D Land, minus the rehashing of level design.

Now if you'll excuse me, I shall be playing Heroes of Ruin again.

At least it'll be adding some newer stuff, and not be a carbon copy of the original. That was what I was really worried about.

I'm not sure if we even have those download codes here.
I've never heard anyone say anything about them in my many hours of sitting in EB.
Never tried asking for one so can't be sure though.

Retail

  • Save room on SD card
  • Don't lose the game if something happens to your 3DS

Digital

  • Save room in space
  • Don't lose the game period
  • Have your game with you at all times
  • Buy it same day as well as save time and money (gas or shipping)
  • For me I will be saving tax too, you trying to cheat me out of 5 dollars Gamestop?
Also the Eshop at least in Japan has some pre-order bonus. VC Donkey Kong NES, and double the Club Nintendo Points.

Also honestly the box ain't much now, with them making them eco friendly and making the manuals smaller and smaller. It's worth it Digital just to not have to type down my Club Nintendo code.

I think that's better then a coin case I won't even wear/use. (and can't get anyways) US PIN SUCKS!
