would love it if they surprised us with cape mario

Would be a little redundant since Raccoon Mario is in the game

I think they might be saving Cape Mario for the Wii U game, but who knows. Miyamoto shot the idea down for Super Mario 3D Land, so I don't know what that could mean. Hmm..

One day I'll get my Super Mario World 2. One Day.

I'll buy the retail version for sure. It'll look good in alongside the rest of my retail games.

You mean Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island?

It's its, not it's.

I always thought the cape feather was better for flying than the racoon suit.
Im hoping that there are different worlds based on different games, maybe in one world you get to pull up vegetables (i can dream). Im also hoping you can ride yoshis.

No, because Yoshi's Island wasn't a Mario Game, it was a Yoshi game. The "Super Mario World" label was thrown onto the title in the western world to boost sales. It's like how SML3: Wario Land isn't considered a Mario Land game. They're spinoff franchises that were associated with a bigger brand, for sales. Even in the Nintendo Power Mario special, they don't cover Yoshi's Island or Wario Land, because they're not part of the "Super Mario" franchise.

Yeah. It's nothing like Super Mario World and not considered to be part of Super Mario franchise but at least it's 10 times better game than World
I love Yoshi's Island.

Haha, good point. Well then, Super Mario World 3 then, and go back to it's roots.

Why do people enjoy playing games like this on small stupid system? I want to enjoy games on big screen! I will never never support handheld gaming! Makes me just want to puke!

A difference of opinion. I for one prefer gaming on a small handheld screen. It's why all my consoles besides my PC are handhelds.

You do realize that the screen on a handheld often looks bigger due to the fact that you're closer to it.

Oh, I wasn't trying to dispute the quality of the game, I have it on my 3DS and love it. It's just technically not part of the "Super Mario" franchise. Sorry if I sounded disrespectful to the game's quality, wasn't trying to do that (although it is true I personally prefer World, but that's a whole other discussion, lol).

Well, let me put it this way. Where I live, I don't get the TV that often, so my 3DS (and the portables before it) is the only way I can really get in some gaming time. While the TV has to be shared (and I'm bottom of the pecking order), my 3DS is exactly that, MINE. It's pretty much where I go to for my entertainment. It also makes long car trips, waiting in waiting rooms, and waiting at the laudrymat much more exciting events. Don't get me wrong, I love gaming on a TV, but I love portables too (also seems like devs are willing to make more creative games on portable systems).
