There are also videos on youtube of people playing the demos at E3 and the levels look like they could be in the NSMB for DS.

It looks much more fun than the first (DS) NSMB if you ask me.

I don't like that the music is recycled from NSMBW, but hopefully it's just filler for the demo. Collecting all those coins looks like fun. Also, it's cool to see there's Dry Goombas and Dry Piranha Plants now. The Reznor look like push-overs as always, but they're supposed to get tougher the further you go into the game.

Yes, it's still here. The music in the trailer was just a different version of the NSMBW main theme on the menu. The good ol' "La, la!" is still here. The "La, la!' is a pretty much a staple in the NSMB series.

Yeah I hope that's not the final soundtrack, just a copied / pasted NSMBW effort. That would be pretty lame. New Super Mario Bros. U had original music, in both the trailer and the demo. So I don't see why this game's a different case -.-

Same. I like it too. I wish they would at least remix it, but it'd be fine with how it is.

I just wish it's good music like the kind you can party in da club with. LOL J/K but I hope they get rid of that horrible tune and replace it with some good but also varied music.

I really like the New Super Mario Bros. theme, its catchy. I just wish it was remixed in its own original way for New Super Mario Bros. 2, don't just copy all the music from the Wii game. That's lazy.

Has it not been said several times already that the music was only for the demo? I'm confused that this is something still being complained about. Not that I would hold it against anyone if it turns out to be true, just thought it was confirmed that this is placeholder music.

It wasn't confirmed, it was us speculating. Unless I'm missing something.

Well it's not confirmed I was just speculating since it has the Nintendo Network logo and since it's not for Co-op what else could it be for? With so many coins flying around everywhere it looks like only the best will try to get as many as they can while trying to complete a stage as soon as possible. Also a lot of games tend to use online for leaderboards nowadays. Also streetpass seems to work this way too trying to get more coins than the guy u passed while also trying to do it faster.
Well I guess instead of online leaderboards Nintendo could probably send out challenges through spotpass.
