The first image sof CoroCoro has been revealed, showing a new game for the 3DS coming this winter called Pokemon: Mystery Dungeon: Magnagate and the Infinite Labyrinth. It's coming to Japan this year. In this game, you start off as a character who turns into a Pokémon as you fall into a dream. Possible Pokémon are Pikachu, Oshawott, Axew, Snivy & Tepig. This game is in full 3D. Unlike past games, this game appears to be standalone, rather than having two versions
It features a variety of Pokémon including Pokémon from Unova such as Gurdurr, Hydreigon and Virizion. You receive Quest Requests from Dunsparce, Cofagrigus runs a store, to which we don't know the details. Rampardos runs the Treasure Store. Kecleon returns, having the usual Goods store, with many items around it.
Finally, it has an Augmented Reality feature. If you scan things, they become Magnagates, which open up paths to new dungeons for you

i honestly can;t wait this rlly made my day today i hope it gets released to the west( i'msure it wil in 2013 i guess:p this year japan)

Can't wait to see more of this game. I've wanted a new entry for a long time. This also means that the 6th generation pokemon game will probably be out next fall and be in 3D.

I noticed this too (checks Serebii at least once a day). I hope this one will be released everywhere which it probably will. I was looking forward to play WiiWare Mystery Dungeons but they were never released outside Japan I hope they won't do that again. I want them to bring Pelipper Office back. Those Pelippers in one of the pictures remind me how I liked when Pelipper appears and brings post of the day. "Flap flap! Clunk!"

@Late the WiiWare ones were extremely short, and way too complicated to localize (sort of like the SatellaView).

This is a full retail game. They have to localize this. Sure, the PMD series may not have sold AS MUCH as the main dries, but it has large enough of a following for Nintendo to justify localization.

Anyways was hoping to see the main series on the 3DS first, but whatever. Maybe I'll try out these dungeon games for once...

there's always a spin off before the next main game. The main series game for the 3DS will be out next fall, I bet you anything.

I can't wait for this!

Hopefully they will decide that people will actually watch Pokemon TV shows if they make a mystery dungeon TV series instead of incomplete specials.

Oh, and there better be music that sounds like FFVI to calm my musical expectations. A lot of PMD2's music sounds like it was ripped from FFVI
