When you're trying to sell a remastered version of a previous hit, you want to emphasize its improvements to convince old fans why it's worth buying instead of just sticking to the previous version.

Nintendo did a good job advertising the improvements in Ocarina of Time 3D, letting everyone know not just about the improved graphics with stereoscopic 3D but also the gyroscope targetting, the inclusion of Master Quest, the constant inventory screen, the boss rush mode, and the help points. However, they appear to have dropped the ball with StarFox 64 3D.

Yes, there's obviously the improved graphics with stereoscopic 3D, and they've also kept us informed about the gyroscope control mode and the one-cart-only wireless multiplayer with camera support and new powerups. However, we are only 4 days away from launch with no mention of 3 excellent new features that could convince fence-sitters to buy the game.

There are already a few reviews out for the game, and reading through them turns up the following:
1. There is a new 3DS difficulty level, slightly easier and designed for the gyroscope controls, although you don't have to use them. Also included are the original N64 difficulty level (where you can't use the gyroscope controls) and an unlockable Expert difficulty (not sure if this was in the original game).

2. There is a new score attack mode, where you can jump straight to replaying any levels you've ever managed to get to in the campaign.

3. Want to play multiplayer but nobody with a 3DS is around? Relive the Perfect Dark experience by playing against multiplayer bots.

Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.

The inclusion of bots in the multiplayer might be the deciding factor in my purchase. I played the craaaaaapppp out of Metroid Prime: Hunters because I was able to play multiplayer with bots! It's always an excellent feature to have, so I'm definitely gonna consider this title a little more than I did before. But what gives Nintendo?? I shouldn't have to learn this from an online forum! It should be advertised!!

I'm a fence-sitter, and the inclusion of multiplayer bots is a very nice surprise. I'll still have to ponder it, but I might get this game now.
And yeah. what Ludby said. Wtf, Nintendo? This is an excellent feature, why didn't they tell us this? They're sure to lose a lot of sales because of that.

If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.

How could they fail to mention bots? That is a nice surprise indeed. Even though it's not as good as human players, it's still a nice addition.

OT: I remember playing Perfect Dark two players against bots. That was awesome back in the days.

are bots editable, or at least have a good range of difficulty levels or handicaps ?

perfect dark was top-notch with this, and i cant count how many bot games i did in unreal tournament games.
im glad they included a bot mode for playing the battle mode.
