Topic: New color for the 3DS in Japan, Lucky japaneses.

Nintendo has announced a new color for the 3DS in Japan.
Andriasang reports that an Ice White 3DS is set to hit Japanese shelves on November 3rd.
The color is reminiscent of the the DS Lite, which launched in white back in 2006. It marks the fifth color available for the 3DS, joining Aqua Blue, Cosmo Black, Flare Red, and the new Misty Pink model announced at TGS last month.
The Ice White system will be available at the same price as current 3DS colors and releases just two weeks after the Misty Pink model. Nintendo has not currently announced the color for release outside of Japan.
Based on the Ice White 3DS, Capcom has now announced a special edition Monster Hunter 3G 3DS bundle.
The bundle includes a copy of the game and will release in Japan on December 10th.

Yep this was mentioned in the news section of NL same with the Monster Hunter Bundle.

It looks so beautiful. The black screen makes it look cooler than if it were all white, IMO. Reminds me of a Ying-Yang type color scheme. I have the black 3DS but, now I really want this color. It's just sooo....cool.

new colors are useless without the proper firmware update ...
wondering if it would transfer just the eshop account or actually all data including stats and messages in the future?!

I really love that scheme. I wish it was available at launch.

For me its no different to black, imo the least favorable option to go. No color is just such a no go

My 3DS does look like the first mage...in certain light.
Otherwise its real green.
I think it depends on the camera too.

So glad I went with black out of the 2 launch colors. That thing looks fugly! D:

If Nintendo would give us an easy way to transfer all our data I'd so buy the new white 3DS. For now I'll just stick with black.

mine is bluer in some light but never that much. i think those shots are from early models before nintendo changed the color. hopefully the white looks the same in person as it does in these shots. while we're on the subject, anyone know how the red looks in person?
