Topic: New 3dsXL with a 32 gb sdcard

Hello I am new to the forum and the 3ds family. I have purchased the monster hunter 4 bundle and I want to replace the 4 gb card with a 32 gb card. I dont have anything to transfer is there anything I need to do aside from switch them out. Please let me know

So I have to do a transfer even though I dont own a 3DS I just want to put a bigger card in it thats all.

My bad. Okay, just put out the included card and put it your bigger capacity card. Then download the game again from the eShop. Just search the game or go to the Redownload software option (it's free).

I really don't like the navigation bar of Nintendo Life continuously reappearing while browsing!!

No you can just replace the card since you have nothing to transfer. The 3DS will create the folders when you turn it on.

Then he needs to swap cards and re-download the software from the eShop.

So "before" I power it on for the first time put then new card in. Or "after" I turn it on, then re download everything.

Just trying to make sure I do it right the first time.

Before turning it on the system swap cards. Then turn it on and re-download the software for free since the purchase is attached to your system.

Its way simpler and time saving to just copy the content from the built in sd card on your pc and copy that to the new bigger 32 gb card ! Do you have a card reader ?
