So many capitals in that title...

I bought a New 3DS XL about two weeks ago. It's been working fine since I bought it. Basically all I've been using it for is Pokemon Y, plus the odd internet browsing now and then. Last night I was playing Pokemon and it crashed, the black screen with white writing came up and told me to turn off the 3DS. I did that and upon turning it back on, I got this message: Cannot display the software on the microSD card. The microSD card could not be accessed.

I've been using the card which came with the console. I have not taken it out, I haven't even touched it or lifted the casing on the 3DS. It was working fine before, then I suddenly got this error. How on earth do I fix this?

EDIT: Can anyone tell me if AUS Club Nintendo has a secret Tech Forum, like the US one? Been looking for a forum for ages and I can't find one.

Take the microSD card and put it back in again. (It might be loose or something.) If this doesn't work, then try using a microSD card adapter to see what exactly is going on with the files. I haven't touched a microSD card before, but it should be the same as a regular SDHC card.

Not even an email address. It's ridiculous. If you need tech support you're gonna have to ring them, which sucks if you hate talking over the phone. On the plus side, it doesn't seem to be an overseas call centre.

Umm... what would I do if I can't get to the SD card because one of the screws is so tight that I can't unscrew it?

You try harder? Just be careful not to strip it. It will eventually come off if you keep at it. You could try drilling it out if you have the equipment. Good luck

I don't think it's a matter of tightness. You probably just need a screwdriver with an end small enough to adequately remove the screw. I've experienced this problem with the Wii Fit U Fit Meter.
