Here 's the deal a few minutes ago my New 3DS XL Majora's Mask system's (NA version) screens started flickering with vertical bars running across both screens at once.
It also fads both screens making them look grainy.
It just comes and goes every few seconds.
Is there any way to fix this on my own?

Weird it is now gone and my screens are now have been working normally for the past 8 minutes.

No. I don't use auto brightness. I hate how it makes my screens look.
I've been running my system at max brightness with power saving off.
It's been running normally for 15 minutes.
i think it may be a glitch.

I wonder if it has something to do with Nintendo putting IPS or TN screens on the N3DS. They should all have IPS screens but there are shipping some with the cheaper TN screens. I do believe my Majora's Mask N3DSXL is IPS.
Like I said the issue resolved itself ~2:18pm (EDT) today.
My N3DSXL has been working fine since then.
