It's rather odd, back when I used my New 3DS XL every day there was absolutely no problems at all but as time has gone on there are times when say I use it on Monday and then don't use it again until Friday outside of free badge arcade stuff but it takes a while of being idle for the B button to function properly again. Anyone else experiencing it?
Use a damp toothbrush; possibly with a baking soda and water mixture. It seems like you have a sticky button, and that should fix it.
If not, you have to get it repaired.
