Crap. £200-£230 is about $313-$360. That's worse than the Japanese price ¥25,000=$300ish. I'm not sure if if this is a bad price in the UK or not, but if it's going to be priced anywhere near this, I don't see how it will sell in the US. Most smartphones are cheaper than this with much more under the hood.
I am way too lazy to think of something clever. My Backloggery
@Cipher £230 is really steep, but I think £200 is pretty reasonable considering it's new technology. We can't expect it to have a low price like the Wii had, thanks to all of its glorious old tech. If you want to get it at £180 you're might have to wait for a price drop, I think.
@TokenGirl Electronics are expensive there. You can't really go by exchange rates in the UK's case. A new DS game, typically sold at £29.99 IIRC, converts to almost US$50. The US price will definitely not be that high.
I'm going to wait for the psp2 announcment before I pre-order as its hard to pay potentially £230 for something as powerful as a gamecube when in 4 years it will look ancient.Depends if psp2 has twin sticks HD and a powerful processor i may buy it instead.
