Topic: New 3DS system update is available.

I just tried to access the shop and got a message about a new system update.
Anyone else know about this?

I just got the same notice and I'm updating now!

EDIT: Not noticed anything new, must be a stability thing.

Hmm didn't seem to have done much. Probably just another Piracy deleting update.
I didn't even get a notification about what the update was for.

Netflix freezes from time to time. Hopefully, this update provides a fix.

Well, my system is now Ver. 2.1.0-4U, so it's probably a behind-the-scenes fix for something or another.

I kinda wished their notifications came in on time...so I don't have to look around to see what the update was about, lol.
Glad to see the automatic update is working though. xD

Maybe it added little pads to keep the bottom screen from scratching the top screen?

There is one thing I could test. There's a movie on Netflix that wasn't working right on the 3DS.
The video would play but there was no sound. I tried the same movie on the Wii's Netflix channel with no problems.
I'll see if it works on 3DS after the update. It was the movie called the new guy.

Those marks on the screen everyone is talking about do wipe off you know.
Stop slamming your 3ds shut and you won't have a problem.

I think just simply closing it can cause it, not slamming it. I don't do that, and I still get them, lol.

But yeah....how can a system update fix that? xD

Well it would also help if people would wash their hands once in a while.
It's called sweat and it gets a little sticky.
What I do is gently rub away the marks with a cotton T shirt or pair of clean undies.
Works great!

I checked to see if netflix works any better and the update doesn't seem to have helped.
That movie the new guy still has no sound on 3DS. Strangely on Wii it works fine.
Don't understand why it's doing that. Still glitchy apparently.

It's probably to fix some stability issues and fight pirates with data ninjas.

@Link79 I've also run into such complications on my Wii version of Netflix. I can't remember what it was, but I do remember that it was just a single episode of a series. I was mad because the rest of the episodes played fine, except for the one I really wanted to see.

Just yesterday I tried to watch an episode of the A-team on my 3DS and the sound was out of sync.
The words didn't match what the people were saying.
That has never happened to me on Wii.

Also if any of you guys were planning on watching the "Street Fighter" film? It's not the version with Jean-Claude Van Damme, like it's displayed as. It's some low budget, old school karate flick. Yay!

Wasn't the actual street Fighter movie pretty low budget as well? LOL.
Only thing more corny and stupid was the Double Dragon movie Ugh.

Well, this has also happened to me on the Wii version? I believe it was a couple episodes of Monster Quest. Don't worry everyone has probably had similar complications with Netflix at some point, I guess we just have to join the club. Or get on the phone with Netflix, which I plan to soon tell them about the Street Fighter movie they misprogrammed.
