With it seemingly right around the corner, I can't really decide what i should trade my 3DSXL for.
With the New 3DS having a slightly biggr screen i'm wandering if i will be happy with medium, or i should stick with the XL size.

I think only you can decide which size screen you prefer. Other than the screen size the main difference between them is the faceplates vs. glossy finish.

I'm personally getting the XL cause unlike the majority it seems, I like the glossy finish and find the faceplates pretty ugly.

If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.

XL all the way. I don't have tiny hands. I also don't want to strain my eyes while looking at the screen. I hardly cared for resolutions or jaggy edges or whatever so the big screen is all for my needs....there you have it....follow your needs.

I heard the regular size was the best option, then again I'm getting the XL anyways. Screw the custom plates, I'll just eventually get a custom skin like with my regular 3DS anyways. x3

Sticking with regular size, no interest in XL and no interest in New XL.
The resolution makes it the sleekiest and prettiest on the regular size, and makes the system more portable. I have a huge phone now so I have enough big screens as it is.

I just can't picture buying a non-XL DS again. The larger screen occuping more of one's vision makes the experience much more visually stimulating and "immersive." People have been sold on this importance of resolution, but just as important is the degree of vision a screen occupies. For films, it should be around 40°, and it's likely something simmilar for many games.

How do we transfer out eshop games to the new 3dsxl if we have to trade in the current one to get the pre-order offer? This has always been a problem with nitendo ..they make up grading punishing. I lost all games bought by e shop last time. Yet they have a record of the games I bought and both hand helds were registered with them. Very disappointing and keeps me from using the e shop.
