I was wondering if any one could help with this. I bought a 32GB microSDHC card for my New 3DS XL when it arrives next month. Is there anything special I need to do or can I just take out the stock card and put in my new one?

Thanks!

Do that before turning the system on, though.

If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.

Don't forget to copy the files from your current micros sd card to the new micro sd card

Do I really need to copy the files before turning it on?

do you already have a 3ds and want to copy the data from your old 3ds to the new one? if not: just insert the 32gb sd card into your new 3ds.

if you already have a 3ds you need to do a transfer. there is a special programm for that on your 3ds

i thought this is your first 3ds

I do not have a 3ds, this will be my first one. So I guess no need to copy files then, right?

That's right. Remove the back plate of the console to access the micro SD card, swap in the new one before you start the system for the first time and you're good to go.

Perfect! Just what I needed to know.
