Hello,
I have a question because when i startup my new3ds then i hear something like a "click" sound (even when volume is off). The same thing is when I shut it off (same type of "click"). The same is when i exit "system settings" (it looks like a system restart). I think that it wasn't like this few days ago. Do You have the same? Do I need to worry about this?

Sometimes i read about problems with screens when such a clicks appeared, but right now my screen work good.

Hello a have a few questions I'd like to ask you;

1. is the 3DS the original old version or the new version?
2. Is it a clicking sound or does it sound like it's popping?
3. Does the screen flash at all? What about the blue LED light?
4. Has the system restarted or shut down on its own?
5. Have you noticed anything else?
6. Have you dropped your system at all? Mishandled it? Ever spilled any liquids on it? The reason why I'm asking is because sometimes when a 3ds system is dropped from a good distance it can cause internal issues.

As for what's wrong, are you sure it's not the clicking noise of the hinges? If it isn't I would start to worry... it could range from a defective / damaged screen, to internal issues like shot motherboard etc, to a messed up ribbon cable.

A lot of the clamshell mess up if they're not taken care of well, they pretty much need babied, this is why a lot of the heavy gamers go after the 2DS's as there are less things that could go wrong with them.
