Topic: New 2DS extra port?

Just got an “open box” new 2ds from amazon and i notice it has an extra port in the front that looks like a micro usb b port, right between the stylus and the power button. I havent seen any other pictures of 2ds’s like this. Is it a demo version or something? I tried plugging it in but it seems to be too shallow for a micro usb cord.

Very weird, not sure if i want to return this and get another one. It also didnt come with a micosd card.

That's... Definitely a modified console.

The best I could find is that it might be modified to work with these contraptions:

From what I read, it's basically used to backup and/or modify the firmware of the system.

You should probably ask for a refund, since you got a hacked, modified console.

Ah, well i guess its going back to amazon.
