I'm not sure if Netflix is doing this but have a look here at the 3rd paragraph in features.

The 3DS has two cameras on the outside of the device, capable of taking 3D photos and capturing 3D video, as well as a camera positioned above the top screen on the inside of the device which faces the player, capable of taking 2D photos and capturing 2D video; all three cameras have a resolution of 640×480 pixels (0.3 megapixel). The system also has 3D movie playback capability; Nintendo has made deals with Warner Bros, Disney, and DreamWorks to deliver 3D movies.[28] Although no titles have been announced yet, the trailers for DreamWorks' How to Train Your Dragon, Warner Bros' upcoming film Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole, and Disney’s upcoming film Tangled were shown on the 3DS during the Expo.[29]

This news has been around since the 3DS has been announced. And it seems like that would only be for 3D movies.

I think I might've gotten nintendo to do that using nintendo customer service. =D I met someone named barbara barelies or something like that. I got them to put on netflix by using a game cartridge instead of a disc. I think I talked them into it by saying that alot more people will get the 3ds by that. I mean, common. it's gotta be at least the 5th transition. and if you count all the gameboys, well then not many people will want the 3ds.but if you go to any wifi hotspot and you are on the road or something, you could always use the netflix game cartridge! more people will have to buy it! right?

Sure...after the give me Android streaming. The only handheld to have Netflix are the iDevices, and I want that exclusivity to end. Soon.

Better yet, make it a 3DS app. Then we don't have to change cartridges just to watch a movie!
