I'm at Goomba's Fortress right now and I cannot get past the part where the fans are preventing me from crossing that bridge. also, when I go to the part where the save and heal blocks are, I can't get past that part either because of the spikes. I even looked at Mario Wiki and it doesn't help at all -_- what do I have to do?

Go to the fans room and paperize, you can put any sticker on them to stop them temporarily. Then run across and move on.

I asked this question already on a different post but still need clarification:
I wanted to know whether you can go back to world map to heal, save, and restock on stickers after beating Kamek but before fighting Bowser in world 6-3. Someone wrote that you can go back to the map but it won't save. I'm confused on why it wouldn't since the game saves automatically as soon as you exit the level. Has anyone tried to go back to the map after Kamek battle in 6-3? Were you able to go right to Bowser when you go back to the level or did you have to fight Kamek again? Thanks in advance.

He was wrong. It will still save.

This is kind of what I don't like about some of Nintendo's design choices:

"To find the Big 1up go to level 4-2, Ice Flow. Just after beginning the level, you go onto a frozen river that, normally, you would have to traverse to progress. However, there is an Easter egg where if you collect 100 coins on the ice river, a Big 1up sticker will come sliding down the river. Also, to whom it may concern, you can get a Big SHINY 1up by collecting 100 coins on the SECOND river." — http://www.gamefaqs.com/3ds/997828-paper-mario-sticker-star/a...

There are some aspects of Nintendo's design I find to be a bit sadistic and the above isn't immediately identifiable as such but, if you've actually played the part of the game it's referencing you might find that you share my opinion.

It's why I don't play the 2D Mario games. I find them extremely frustrating because they don't allow you to achieve flow-state. They're constantly tripping you up at every possible point and it's like the game is designed around the mechanic of constantly frustrating the player's progress. Kind of the same reason I didn't like Braid. That kind of gameplay is just not fun. It's frustrating and feels petty and I'm just not masochistic enough to enjoy it.

The sticker on the frozen river is necessary for the player to complete the sticker collection and unfurl the flag infront of the Decalburg sticker festival stage...it's completely hidden and the information is not even in the official strategy guide.

I think it's okay to put easter eggs in games but to make a solution that's fundamental to your design a hidden easter egg just seems to me to be a questionable design choice.

@SuperPaperLuigi - The Big 1-UP stickers in Ice Flow are just optional easter eggs though. The main way you're supposed to get them is through exploring the levels. The Big 1-UP is in a hidden passage in World 2(-1, I think) and the SHINY variation is in the World 5 Boss level and ties with the level's main puzzle so you can't miss it.

The game has design flaws but this case is not one of them.

@DreamyViridi Thanks, I'll see if I can find that now. :0)

You've probably saved me some frustration.

Actually, I'll run some more searches. I think the frozen river might be the best option unless I can get verification of it's location? You're not sure if that's where it is?

...I'll run some more searches.

Edit: "It's in Dry bake desert 2-1 on top of the quicksand hill (with the Pokeys going down it and has the sode can thing on it) the rocks are hiding a secret entrance, go between them." — http://www.gamefaqs.com/3ds/997828-paper-mario-sticker-star/a...

Awesome...thanks. :0)

P.S. the Flashy Linejump sticker I generated using the pink-flowers-circle blocks but that only works for the standard size stickers.

@SuperPaperLuigi - No problem. I'm happy to help those who actually give the game a go.
