I've never had a problem with the demo limits. The most I've ever used was on EO IV and that was like 9. Of course I NEVER turn my system off. This game also encourages you to leave it in sleep mode.
hmm so I'm trying to rebuild the village...does sleep mode still keep the timer ticking? I really want the better weapons been stuck using the one's found in the shop.
Yep sure does. If you have a 10 hour one do it before you go to bed. Most are not that long though. It's where all the good items are!

The rewards aren't really much. Just basic equipment and various regular items. It's helpful since it saves you money, but don't expect anything really good...
Heard the game is difficult...well for me it isn't i breezed through everything with the same job classes
Are you playing on Normal or Hard? On Hard if you try to go all Freelancers you have to return to town after every fight for the first few fights because you just get massacred.
After the turtle boss which was relatively easy because I'd been trampling myconids before fighting it, (Full party of level 14s) then I went to the southern dungeon and that Mail Dragon (how do they fit him into the post box?) rush attack is a horror.

did it on hard...of course the moment i started the game they were not free lancers anymore xD I chose jobs for them that fit them according to their stats only at the automatondid I change 3 of my members' jobs.

Upgraded my armor and weapons and completely steamrolled that dragon in a few turns Valkyrie Ringabel with the two-handed ability and the best spear in the game was an absolute beast. He was consistently doing 1000+ damage when I maxed out his braves and went medieval on that dragon. Also, black mages with an ice rod do a lot of damage with Blizzara.
Currently Downloading the demo for the upteenth time but I want to know, how far does this demo go? Sorry if this was already answered, just want to know what I'm getting myself into.
He got me once or twice as well. Just make sure before he does his multiple attack all are defaulting for increased defense. Then unleash the next turn. Also helps if you fully upgraded your town!

My town is fully upgraded and I'm around level 10/11. Yeah...the double attacks are destroying me.
You know I didn't realize till like the last to jobs that on the bottom map it shows you who has a mission for you with a blue box near their area! It was way quicker then talking to everyone all the time during day and night.

Awe man. I was enjoying some Steamworld Dig! Oh well time to get my butt handed to me I guess! I still need to get to GameStop and pre-order this. Its been way to cold to think about going anywhere I don't have to!
