I just beat the Master Quest the other day, but there are still a few mysteries that I have yet to figure out. First of all regards this guy:
When you dive down in that pool of his, he says you should be able to dive deeper. Well, my question is: how do you dive deeper than 18 feet?
Second of all regards this guy:
When you find him in the lost forest, he doesn't respond to you. Navi says I should try to get his attention. How do you get his attention?
1. Get the gold scale from catching a big fish as an adult.
2. Do the biggoron sword side quest, and figure it out. (it'll all make sense then)

By getting a rare fish in the fishing spot you can get a golden Zora scale wich lets you dive deeper. As for the other guy, you need to show him his pet cucco, which you can get from his siter the cucco lady.
Talk to the head carpenter (I think) and it'll initiate the side quest. It's a series of deliveries you need to make. Also, make sure king sora isn't still frozen. :3

You mean bring him that "knife" that the giant Goron gives you?
No, you need to bring him his pett Cucco which his sister, the Cucco lady, will give you. Then he will talk to you. You will then get a mushroom you need to give to the witch in Kakariko Village which will give you a potion that you will have to give to him but when you get there he is gone and only a knife is left.

I've tried the Cucco before, it just says "looks like that item doesn't work here".
Well in that case, bring the saw(Xilef said it's a knife) to the head carpenter, he'll give you a broken sword, go to the top of death mountain and wake up biggoron, he'll give you a prescription, take it to king zora, he'll give you a frog, take it to the scientist, he'll give you eyedrops, bring those to biggoron. :3

Did the cucco Anju gave you hatch from the egg (pocket cucco)? If so, you'll have to use it to wake up that sleeping guy in one of the houses of Kakariko first. After this, Anju gives you the blue cucco (which you can use to talk to the guy in forest).
Oh yeah, if you didn't wake up talon, then you'll need to do so like @Faron says. :3
