No surprise, the Myst name has only been whored out to the most awful of cash-ins for quite a long time now. Anyone originally associated with that game should be ashamed and perhaps publicly disgraced for what it's become.
(The greatest game in the series, by the way, is unquestionably Riven.)

Sad but true... Damn I was so happy to heard it was about to come out on 3DS but since it's the DS port it will be bad big time like almost all the port they've done "out" of PC...

That's a really terrible port....the original PC-game is only 6 dollars on GOG.com, so there's really no point of buying this apparently worse 3ds version.

It was so blurry on the PS1 I can't even see how they manage to put Myst on an handheld and worst on the DS graphic quality when they can put it on a 3D better quality graphic... They try to make money on a game that was good and now seem like solveware...

OK guys, the OP was wrong. Yes it shares much with the DS version but the developers have said that 3D effects will be added and as an added bonus, it will include the Rime Age.
Personally, if they price it like the one that priced Cave Story at the ridiculous price of $40, I'll laugh at anyone who buys it (except those hardcore collectors who want everything Myst related). There are so much better games in the same vein as Myst such as 999 and its upcoming 3DS successor.

From the preview video on the Nintendo channel on the WII it's look like the action is on the lower screen and you browse page and things on the upper one... Since the lower screen is not 3D the game will be mostly 2D with some 3D here and there...

I read several months ago that this game was suppose to release in March. Does anyone know why it was delayed?
Nintendo of America say now that you can get 30 coins for Myst 3DS if you register it now... So it doesn't seem delayed... But I can't find any review about this version... Is this better than other "out of PC" port ? Did the 3D fine or a "throw in" things...
