So was the Mii Maker kind to you when you captured your Mii? I ask this because the demo unit at the event in Brisbane created a Mii of...well...me, and it was hideous!
I don't think that 3DS liked me very much, because others, mostly girls my age, have said I look 'adorable' or 'cute'.
Lol, the 3DS was jealous of you, hmm.. I hope your 3DS won't be jealous of you

So many Awesome video games coming out this year! So many games so little money! Crap!
^^3DS games, and DSi Enhanced games (DS games with extra features on the DSi/3DS - like Pokemon B/W with videochat, for example) are region locked. You can only play those games on a 3DS/DSi from the same region as the game cart.
Since the original DS and DS Lite didn't have region locking, neither do most regular DS games. Therefore, you can play most regular DS games on any 3DS regardless of region.
I have tried Pokemon Black/White with all features and my US copies of Pokemon Black/White both work flawlessly with my Japanese 3DS system. So evidently they are not region-locked.
And a case does not affect the 3DS StreetPass feature. It will work, even inside of a case.
On a video review of the hardware I recently saw (on Engadget, I think), the reviewer said that the SD card is big enough to save various things including saved games. Do 3DS game card games save to internal or SD memory rather than the game card itself? I'd be surprised...

3DS games save to cartridge, although the Mii and Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition do save small files to the internal memory. I just removed my SD card and fired up Super Monkey Ball 3D and Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition and they both still had the saves intact.

Do you mean the internal memory of the system or the cartridge?
Well thats nice... I don't like loosing all my saves at once.
I have two questions: Can you take in-game screenshoots of any game? or only some, like the AR games and nintendogs (because these are the ones i have seen doing it) Can you really use a song in the SD as background music while playing a game?
