Topic: My anticipation for the 3ds

I am going to get a 3ds pretty soon, and I'm pretty excited. I never seem to have the up-to-date console, if so, not for long.
I'm really eyeing up Mario Kart 7 because I have Mario Kart for GBA, GCN, and DS. How is that game, in your opinion and what are some of the heads ups, like glitches (I already know of Maka Wuhu), errors or difficulties. And how is LoZ OoT? Im really looking at that one too.

How was your anticipation while you waited to get your 3ds?

MK7 is fun and the online works seamlessly. But there are 2 major glitches: one on both of the wuhus.
The graphics and controls are much better than in the ds, after playing mk7 for a week, and then going back to mkds I found the controls to be a million times better in mk7.
BTW, I never seem have the up to date system either, the 3ds is the only one I've had within a year of its release!

Well, I never looked at the demo units, so I was just anticipating seeing the 3D.

Honestly, I was more excited to get a working DS again, at the time.

I don't have LoZ OoT (and probably won't, it's not my kind of game), but I do have MK7 and have found it extremely enjoyable! As far as glitches, the only thing I've noticed is the occasionaly clipping of some characters through the bodies of some karts, but it's extremely minor. There was much more (and more pronounced) clipping in MKDS, so it's no big problem.

As far as anticipation, I didn't have much time to anticipate it as I got it the day after I had the idea to get one (I lost my old DS lite, so I then had an excuse to get one! ). Also, when I got it, I spent about an hour playing with the built-in features before I even started up my game!

(P.S.: I posted this from my 3DS!)

I highly recommend OoT 3D. Not only do you get the best game ever made(or one of) in beautiful 3D, you also get Master Quest which is enough to play through again. There are also boss battles or boss rush mode where you can re-do any/all the boss fights in the game.
