Topic: Monster Hunter is ideal for a handheld device.

Monster consumes all. Ever since I started playing it last year, it has been the only game I've played. Yeah I bought ZombiU and Kid Icarus, but I haven't even taken the wrapping off those games yet. Every day after school, while I'm waiting for my little sister to come to the car, hunting monsters is the action. When work is finished, Monster Hunter is calling me. Every night, before I go to sleep, I must hunt monsters. I can not imagine how awful it must be for people with the WiiU version of this game, having to sit in one room and arrange time in the day to play. A game like this deserves every conscious hour invested in. In bed, can't sleep? MONSTER HUNTER. Waiting for an appointment? MONSTER HUNTER. Need someone to cry to? MONSTER HUNTER.

And so Monster Hunter is ideal for the 3DS. If you love someone, spend as much time with that person as possible. Monster Hunter loves me, guys. And I love her back. But our love is taboo, here in Southern America. If people find out, there will be riots. What do I do, guys? Please help.

The Harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. When the going gets tough, the tough gets going.

I think Monster Hunter would work better on a home console because Monster hunting takes time and you do not jump into Monster Hunter for quick 5 minutes of gameplay then stop. I haven't played a Monster hunter (outside the demos) but can't imagine trying to find time to play on the go. Defiantly a game I want to sit and play for hours.

I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

That's exactly it. Hours on hours. bring it with you, everywhere. every second of free time must be devoted to the Dire Miralis.

Nope to me I enjoy being able to play several quest back to back which I can't do portably on the go in most cases unless I'm on a train or plane (long journeys). I also enjoy the larger screen voice chat and more stable online.

It's just so much better on console due to online (or better quality online), better graphics, better controls, a bigger screen... The list goes on and on. That's just my opinion though.

But I don't want to play it for the few minutes here and there. I want to play it for hours in one sitting.

Honestly, Monster Hunter is a game I find I can't play outside of a few weeks in Febuary, regardless of platform...it's far too engrossing. I have to devote hours to it every time, which I'm usually not ready to do for most games.
